On the morning of 29 January the Consul-General of the Republic of Hout Bay (aka Andre Jacobs) assembled a group of some 20 Hout Bay business people at the Legend’s Grill & Bar. The purpose of the meeting was to form a new civic organisation to market the business of Hout Bay as a totally unique community.
The infant organisation has christened itself as the Hout Bay Mob, an acronym for Marketing our Business. The concept is eventually to aim itself at creating a civic which can effectively guide the management of Hout Bay as a multi-facetted community with very valuable assets.

The Mob meets again on 6 February at 17h30 at Legends Grill & Bar, a meeting at which the initial structure of the Mob will be established. Any interested members of the Hout Bay business community are invited: the meeting is scheduled to last an hour and to be followed by wine tasting. |
