- Timothy Jacobs (HBBOF) opened the meeting by welcoming everybody present
- Patrick Roman was the chairperson of the meeting and presented the members present as to the rationale of establishing a community forum in Hout Bay. He then asked all members to kindly introduce themselves
- Tofeeq Hargey provided the meeting with an overview of the City of Cape Town Tourism Department
- Jill (Tea Bags Design) was invited to share her vision for Hout Bay regarding the development opportunities for tourism in the Hout Bay Area
- Generally the members supported the idea to develop tourism in a sustainable manner for all the role-players (Government, Businesses and Communities)

Motions |
Rudolf Rieger and Timothy Jacobs provided the meeting with a proposal that a follow – up Tourism Awareness Workshop should be held with the view of establishing a platform within a reasonable timeframe to share the necessary information with all relevant stakeholders. In essence this proposal was accepted by members present.
It was agreed that the meeting would be held on the 14th November 2007 at 15:00 and that the venue will be announced in due course.
