Before leaving Simons Town for the BoKaap we were taking a walk about at Jubilee Square, where the statue of the Canine Dog "Just Nuisance" is placed amongst the traders in the square. The perfect place for a snack spot or just to refresh.

At the Malay quarters known as the BO-Kaap we werewelcomed into a Malay family home where we enjoyed the traditional Koeksisters, cultural snacks given to guest with lekker flavored homemade Chai Tea. Being taken on a story telling journey of the Bokaap history and stories of family and friend social and traditional events like weddings, doepmal, etc.
